Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work French Landscape by Lucien Pissarro. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,691.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gouvernes, près Lagny in October this year with an auction result of EUR 352,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French Landscape von Lucien Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.691,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.800,00 – 2.400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gouvernes, près Lagny im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 352.800,00.
