Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living With Art, which included the work Port de Bauleiu, Côte d'Azur by Lucien Delarue. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,133.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lucien Delarue have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2011 the work The steps of Montmartre was auctioned for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,880.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Port de Bauleiu, Côte d'Azur von Lucien Delarue zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.133,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Lucien Delarue konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit The steps of Montmartre für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.880,63) versteigert.
