The price achieved of EUR 15,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,500.00 – 17,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luciano Borzone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carità romana, which sold at auction in April 2018 for EUR 34,000.00.
