Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reflection On Cosmos by Lucia Cheung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,487.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucia Cheung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Search of Landscape: Lofty Mountains and Running Rivers, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,600.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reflection On Cosmos von Lucia Cheung kam im März 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.487,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucia Cheung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Search of Landscape: Lofty Mountains and Running Rivers beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.600,51) versteigert wurde.
