Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 230,500.00 (€ 176,587.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Signorelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Processional Banner: The Presentation In The Temple, which sold at auction in January 2012 for USD 818,500.00 (€ 627,058.91).
