Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Works on Paper, which included the work Susannah And The Elders by Luca Penni. It changed hands for a price of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 123,517.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Luca Penni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2014 the work Le Christ Aux Limbes was auctioned for EUR 157,500.00.

Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Susannah And The Elders von Luca Penni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 123.517,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Luca Penni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2014 die Arbeit Le Christ Aux Limbes für EUR 157.500,00 versteigert.
