Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work A Reclining Nude by Luc Albert Moreau for GBP 117.50 (€ 166.42). This price was achieved in the auction British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luc Albert Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le joueur de banjo - 1914 in December last year with an auction result of EUR 4,592.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Reclining Nude von Luc Albert Moreau für GBP 117,50 (€ 166,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luc Albert Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le joueur de banjo - 1914 im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.592,00.
