A top price for Lu Zishu
When the work Landscape After Ancient Artists by Lu Zishu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 50,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,671.53). This high result makes Landscape After Ancient Artists the most expensive artwork by Lu Zishu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Lu Zishu
Als die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Artists von Lu Zishu im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 50.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.671,53) mehr als dreimal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Landscape After Ancient Artists zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Lu Zishu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
