Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing by Lu Shibai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,792.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Shibai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nandina and Still Life in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,207,500.00 (€ 119,729.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fishing von Lu Shibai kam im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.792,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Shibai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nandina and Still Life im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.207.500,00 (€ 119.729,05).
