Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 1153 by Lu Shibai was sold in the Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,760.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Shibai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nandina and Still Life in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,207,500.00 (€ 119,729.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 1153 von Lu Shibai wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.760,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Shibai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nandina and Still Life im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.207.500,00 (€ 119.729,05).
