This artwork by Lu Fusheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 auction, the work Portrait sold for HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,779.21) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Fusheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After Snowing in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,239,000.00 (€ 143,192.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Fusheng erzielte im Mai 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 wurde die Arbeit Portrait für HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.779,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Fusheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After Snowing im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.239.000,00 (€ 143.192,08).
