A top price for Lu Dangping
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Lu Dangping was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 11,065.86), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu the most expensive artwork by Lu Dangping that we have observed at auctions so far.
