Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Water Series (Set Of Six) by Lu Chunsheng for HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,504.80). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Chunsheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Curve Which Can Cough, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 8,031.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Water Series (Set Of Six) von Lu Chunsheng für HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.504,80) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Chunsheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Curve Which Can Cough beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 8.031,83) versteigert wurde.
