It achieved a price of USD 275,000.00 (€ 235,646.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Louise Moillon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panier De Quetsches in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 1,143,000.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life Of A Peaches In A Bowl Standing On A Wooden Box On A Ledge, An Apricot Branch Resting In The Foreground von Louise Moillon wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 235.646,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louise Moillon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Panier De Quetsches im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.143.000,00.
