In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Pink and red roses in a vase sold for GBP 2,990.00 (€ 4,892.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Louise Ellen Perman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life Of Yellow Roses sold at auction in August 2008 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,525.21).
