This price was achieved in the auction Fine Art at VAN HAM and exceeded the previously set estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Louis Tuaillon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Stehender Hirsch. sold at auction in June 2018 with the realized price of EUR 12,500.00.
