Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Louis Lang could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work Summer landscape with young woman changed hands for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,792.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Lang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reminiscences of Lake Mahopac--Ladies Preparing for a Boat Race in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,299.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Lang konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit Summer landscape with young woman für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.792,64) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Lang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reminiscences of Lake Mahopac--Ladies Preparing for a Boat Race im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 22.299,86).
