Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jeune Marocaine by Louis John Endres was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,658.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis John Endres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Patriarch's Daughter in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 24,000.00 (€ 18,140.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jeune Marocaine von Louis John Endres kam im Dezember 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.658,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis John Endres erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Patriarch's Daughter im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.000,00 (€ 18.140,59).
