Commentaire : Notre esquisse préparait très certainement la composition définitive exposée au Salon de 1746 sous le numéro 1 en pendant avec celle du 'Triomphe d'Amphitrite', toutes deux aujourd'hui perdues.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th century Art, which included the work Télémaque Faisant Le Récit De Ses Aventures À Calypso by Louis Galloche. The price achieved of EUR 5,420.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Galloche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana und Actaeon. in September 2020 with an auction result of CHF 61,300.00 (€ 56,931.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Télémaque Faisant Le Récit De Ses Aventures À Calypso von Louis Galloche zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.420,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Galloche erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana und Actaeon. im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 61.300,00 (€ 56.931,89).
