Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A band of Christian knights slaying a dragon; and A band of Christian knights confronted by harpies and demons by Louis-Félix de la Rue was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,229.87). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis-Félix de la Rue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Bacchanal, which sold at auction in July 2010 for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,508.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A band of Christian knights slaying a dragon; and A band of Christian knights confronted by harpies and demons von Louis-Félix de la Rue kam im April 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.229,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis-Félix de la Rue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Bacchanal beobachtet, die im Juli 2010 für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.508,95) versteigert wurde.
