Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,306.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Carrogis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Gentils hommes Du Duc D’Orléans Dans L’Habit De Saint-Cloud in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 531,000.00.
