Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in Paris held the auction DESSINS ET TABLEAUX ANCIENS ET DU 19EME, which included the work L'Enlèvement d'Europe, d'après un camée by Louis-Bertin Parant. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,057.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis-Bertin Parant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Henri Iv, Roi De France Et Navarre, De Profil (1553-1610) in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 14,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion DESSINS ET TABLEAUX ANCIENS ET DU 19EME durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Enlèvement d'Europe, d'après un camée von Louis-Bertin Parant zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.057,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis-Bertin Parant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Henri Iv, Roi De France Et Navarre, De Profil (1553-1610) im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.375,00.
