Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Travellers in a wooded landscape, a building with a tower to the left by Louis Bélanger was sold in the Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours auction at Christies in London in December 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,899.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Bélanger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Utsikt över staden från Djurgårdslandet" (View over Stockholm from Djurgårdslandet) in June 2014 with an auction result of SEK 460,000.00 (€ 50,233.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Travellers in a wooded landscape, a building with a tower to the left von Louis Bélanger wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.899,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Bélanger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Utsikt över staden från Djurgårdslandet" (View over Stockholm from Djurgårdslandet) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 460.000,00 (€ 50.233,75).
