Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2012 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Ruine Près D'Une Rivière by Louis Bélanger. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Bélanger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Utsikt över staden från Djurgårdslandet" (View over Stockholm from Djurgårdslandet) in June 2014 with an auction result of SEK 460,000.00 (€ 50,233.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ruine Près D'Une Rivière von Louis Bélanger zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Bélanger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Utsikt över staden från Djurgårdslandet" (View over Stockholm from Djurgårdslandet) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 460.000,00 (€ 50.233,75).
