Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ruine Près D'Une Rivière by Louis Bélanger was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 884.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Bélanger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Utsikt över staden från Djurgårdslandet" (View over Stockholm from Djurgårdslandet) in June 2014 with an auction result of SEK 460,000.00 (€ 50,233.75).

Die Arbeit Ruine Près D'Une Rivière von Louis Bélanger kam im Oktober 2012 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 884,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Bélanger erzielen.
