Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Loui Michael could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Sureal composition changed hands for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 401.97) - just shy of the DKK 6,000.00 estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Loui Michael - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Surrealistic composition, 1978, which sold at auction in June this year for DKK 9,500.00 (€ 1,275.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Loui Michael konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Sureal composition für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 401,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Loui Michael mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Surrealistic composition, 1978 beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für DKK 9.500,00 (€ 1.275,37) versteigert wurde.
