Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work Mixed roses in a basket on a draped table by Lottie Davis. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 58.75 (€ 84.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lottie Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Home: My Mother was born in a bucket in September 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,225.02).

Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mixed roses in a basket on a draped table von Lottie Davis zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 58,75 (€ 84,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lottie Davis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Home: My Mother was born in a bucket im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.225,02).
