The work Sans titre - 1961 by Lothar Quinte was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,624.00 31% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lothar Quinte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1961 von Lothar Quinte wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.624,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lothar Quinte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
