Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre - 1961 by Lothar Quinte was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,674.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lothar Quinte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, which sold at auction in July 2021 for EUR 13,750.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1961 von Lothar Quinte kam im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.674,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lothar Quinte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
