Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Farmers at rest by Lorenzo Viani was worth EUR 600.00 to a buyer in October 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings and Engravings at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Viani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dame mit Chrysantheme in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 189,100.00.

Die Arbeit Farmers at rest von Lorenzo Viani war einem Käufer im Oktober 2018 EUR 600,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Viani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dame mit Chrysantheme im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 189.100,00.
