The work The Penitent Magdalene by Lorenzo Pasinelli was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 149,000.00 (€ 131,975.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Penitent Magdalene is the most expensive artwork by Lorenzo Pasinelli that we have observed at auctions so far.
