Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lorenzo P. Latimer could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Haystacks changed hands for USD 765.00 (€ 675.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo P. Latimer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stream in the Redwoods in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,577.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lorenzo P. Latimer konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Haystacks für USD 765,00 (€ 675,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo P. Latimer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stream in the Redwoods im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.577,06).
