In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction Stephane Boudin at 5 Belgrave Square, Les Objets de l'Empire & Mount Kennedy, Ireland. Three Private Collections, which included the work Capriccio; Saint Germain by Lord Berners. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,997.04), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lord Berners - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Robert Heber-Percy, which sold at auction in August 2005 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,135.47).
