A top price for Loie Hollowell
When the work Linked Lingams (yellow, green, blue, purple, pink) by Loie Hollowell was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 5,000,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 16,510,000.00 (€ 1,793,414.08). This high result makes Linked Lingams (yellow, green, blue, purple, pink) the most expensive artwork by Loie Hollowell that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Linked Lingams (yellow, green, blue, purple, pink) von Loie Hollowell im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
