Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Aynhoe Park - A Modern Grand Tour, which included the work Venus by Lode Eyckermans. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,770.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lode Eyckermans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Adoration, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,420.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Aynhoe Park - A Modern Grand Tour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venus von Lode Eyckermans zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.770,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lode Eyckermans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Adoration beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.420,65) versteigert wurde.
