Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Barca A Secco by Llewelyn Lloyd was auctioned at Christies in Rome in June 2006. The price achieved of EUR 7,440.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Llewelyn Lloyd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'addio del sole nel Golfo di Procchio, which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 24,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Barca A Secco von Llewelyn Lloyd kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.440,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Llewelyn Lloyd mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'addio del sole nel Golfo di Procchio beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 24.800,00 versteigert wurde.
