The work Grande Invasion by Ljuba was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of EUR 25,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ljuba; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Creation Des Androides, 1970 sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of EUR 36,475.00.

Die Arbeit Grande Invasion von Ljuba kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 25.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ljuba; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Creation Des Androides, 1970 im Mai 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 36.475,00.
