Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poems on Lotus in Running Script by Liu Yong was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 22,084.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Yong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 672,000.00 (€ 686,243.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poems on Lotus in Running Script von Liu Yong kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 22.084,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Yong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 672.000,00 (€ 686.243,48).
