Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Love in the Light Snow by Liu Yong was auctioned at POLY in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 37,340.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Yong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 672,000.00 (€ 686,243.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Love in the Light Snow von Liu Yong kam im August letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 37.340,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Yong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 672.000,00 (€ 686.243,48).
