Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Boogie Woogie, Little Girl by Liu Ye was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 9,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 10,055,000.00 (€ 1,179,904.66). Admittedly, works by Liu Ye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Smoke in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 52,182,000.00 (€ 5,964,325.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boogie Woogie, Little Girl von Liu Ye kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 9.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 10.055.000,00 (€ 1.179.904,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Ye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Smoke im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.182.000,00 (€ 5.964.325,41).
