Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossom by Liu Haisu was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 235,875.00 (€ 29,270.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Haisu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Huangshan Mountain, Peach Blossom Peak in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 519,435.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossom von Liu Haisu kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 235.875,00 (€ 29.270,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Haisu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Huangshan Mountain, Peach Blossom Peak im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 519.435,55).
