A top price for Liu Guofu
This artwork by Liu Guofu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Modern Day Auction auction, the work Cold Mountain No. 6 sold for HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 182,811.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. This high result makes Cold Mountain No. 6 the most expensive artwork by Liu Guofu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Guofu erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Cold Mountain No. 6 für HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 182.811,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00.
