Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poet In Pavilion by Liu Dan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 73,772.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Dan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poppy in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,920,000.00 (€ 779,641.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poet In Pavilion von Liu Dan kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 73.772,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Dan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poppy im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.920.000,00 (€ 779.641,64).
