A top price for Lirio Salvador
This artwork by Lirio Salvador achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Majestic Phallus sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,714.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. This high result makes Majestic Phallus the most expensive artwork by Lirio Salvador that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lirio Salvador erzielte im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Majestic Phallus für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.714,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00.
