Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work At the docks by Lionel Rouse was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 353.25). Other works by Lionel Rouse have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2007 by the work Chelsea at GBP 456.00 (€ 677.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit At the docks von Lionel Rouse im März 2007 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
