Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,997.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lionel Noël Royer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elégante contemplant la mer in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 15,275.00.

Die Arbeit Jeune fille a la plage von Lionel Noël Royer kam im März 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.997,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
