Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lino Selvatico could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Ragazza in costume changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Lino Selvatico have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto di signora entro paesaggio autunnale in December this year with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lino Selvatico konnte im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Ragazza in costume für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lino Selvatico auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ritratto di signora entro paesaggio autunnale im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
