Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Älg på myr by Lindorm Liljefors was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in February 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,800.00 (€ 907.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lindorm Liljefors - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moose and hounds, which sold at auction in December 2010 for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 3,120.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Älg på myr von Lindorm Liljefors im Februar 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.800,00 (€ 907,06) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lindorm Liljefors mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moose and hounds beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 3.120,96) versteigert wurde.
