Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Early Spring, Beautiful Headland, St Ives Harbour by Linda Weir. The price achieved of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,368.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Linda Weir have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Early Spring, Beautiful Headland, St Ives Harbour was auctioned for GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,646.67).
