This artwork by Lin Sanzhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Sydney in April 2021. In the Asian Art auction, the work Calligraphy in Grass Style sold for AUD 22,140.00 (€ 18,403.99) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Sanzhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poem In Caoshu, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 61,968.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Sanzhi erzielte im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Grass Style für AUD 22.140,00 (€ 18.403,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Sanzhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poem In Caoshu beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 61.968,79) versteigert wurde.
